A YEAR IN REVIEW

Alright, I think now would be a good time to do this. Only a little bit of hum and econ left before I leave.

FALL
What can I say? The year started off rocky. If you will look at my posts back then, I was still pining at the beginning and being a bit naive. It was full of heartbreak and new friendships, and beautiful weather at the zoo. And my grade in AP Chem was higher first quarter. The first half of the year was dominated by one aspect, and I know you all know what that is. It was refreshing, it was devastating, it was just what i needed. Homecoming was a mix of good and bad, and it finally helped me make a leap where it was most appropriate. My hair was longer, too.

WINTER
Things were settling down, or maybe up. I was still very, very preoccupied. Nothing good take my mind off of certain things, but my grades were faltering because of them. And mom's adage about short hair making you smarter is a no-no... Snow ball fights, school closings, very nice. Got my braces off to sport my newly straightened teeth, lovely. One of the best Christmases too. But soon Something abrupt would happen, that would leave me all over the place, until...

SPRING
Saved. Then ruined. Twice. I almost became vegetarian, too. I started to realize things about people that i never had before. Badminton club started to...exist, and it was the highlight of my year. Well, at least the year 2006. Oh yes, and "Don't fall in love with the messenger" was my new motto near the beginning? And Dustin would constantly neglect his chem hw. And Jesse played beautifully.

SUMMER
AP Chemistry testing was a blast, but The final would make up for that :(. If our final is 100% harder than the AP, that should tell her something. But I guess it didn't. Field trip to the art museums and me spending time with a certain C-mon was short-lived because after that, it really did get boring. SOL testing was a blast too, and allowed me to rediscover the joys of piano in our school and discover thrice thx to Rob. But i really did miss badminton.

SO...
I thoroughly enjoyed my 8th pds, even the ones where I was forced to discuss my favorite topics with Badgett. Yes, I did find a beautiful freshman, and a beautiful senior that I promised myself I'd find. But I've learned not to be too worked over guys (last year was a mess). Lots of other cool things. Hacking into Abhi's account, all the cheating controversy, World Cup, Olympics (Apolo is still my hero), climbing on to the roof, JLC, fixing stuff on stage with Xmas and Bobby before Silent Auction, Recitals, Xtine's various men, HC and cramming everyone into the gym, BANGING ON THE VENDING MACHINE with my group, everything!

4 APs next year, I'll need you all to help me survive!
