This is youth. walking down the street at 10 am wearing a guy's jeans and listening to Saosin. With no intention of going back home.
Alright. I did really want to go into the pit, and I felt like cold war kids should have gotten a bit more attention, but you know, our seats were pretty amazing so I can't quite complain. I was always afraid of like, falling off lol. But I wouldn't have had my concert virginity killed by anything else.
MUSE was FUCKING AWESOME. Like...*lights dim*...
BOOM! *omg* Muse makes appearance!
"How ya doing, Fairfax?" (typical brits...the things he said made me laugh for some reason)
But they played ALL THE BEST SONGS (I wanted wanted badly to hear Matthew Bellamy play Sunburn though, he's so pro at piano..I feel intimidated by a white person for the first time ever..)
Knights of Cydonia!
Map of the Problematique!
Butterflies and Hurricanes
City of Delusion
Time is Running out! Invincible!
FUCKING BLISS!!! I knew they'd play it!
Like, the chances of me trusting Patrick and Ryan's Playlist order was actually pretty low..lol bands never follow anything strictly..
And they ended with Stockholm Syndrome, FTW.
Apocalypse Please..with a REALLY good twist...
"This song is called..Starlight" *erupts into applause/screaming*
New Born..never close your eyes while rocking out or you will feel like you're gonna fall off..lol
PLUG IN BABY bitches
And feeeeeling goood (I loved what was playing on the screens)
Hysteria omg
SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLEEEEE amazing.
They had pretty good light shows and steam blowing everywhere and a screen with graphics that I kept wondering about...what was the bittage? And that thing to the right that I voted was an iphone display. Oh well.
Super smexy piano playing...absolutely amazing on the Butterflies and Hurricanes solo...damn I have never ever seen a glissando done that well. On a glass piano that lights up... *drool*
Random funny piano solo in the middle lol.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm yes. Man why don't more people scream and sing along at concerts, we need a dance floor!!!!!
