The Start of School

I mean, I've grown up, right?

Classes have been going well. It's a hearty and warm start to the season, and I hope to enjoy it for all it's worth. Looks like we seniors are really a family, and should have no problem owning the grounds this year.
However, there are some things that obviously have not. changed.
The envious, easily alarmed soul that resides right here can't help but enjoy feeling well, envious and alarmed.
The benefits are minuscule compared to the pitfalls and pratfalls and overwhelming apathy (how sick I am of using that term) that one would go through at this point, and I would have to say masochism is the soul proprietor of this happy September.
Note: at least I'm actually apathetic when I say I am. Emo songs? Apathy is just the paTHETIC and obvious facade for "omg-I'm-qqing".

Or MAYBE it's the little-girl big-dance feeling that I think I just have to grab off the shelves like the Wonka chocolate bars, and take the offer to go to the factory JUST because.. its the factory?

To put it bluntly, I've assessed value. Societally speaking, mmmmnot that valuable overall (hopefully, if the stocks keep their words).
But its like, pick. The one million dollars, or the rare, one-of-a-kind gem worth a million dollars?
The one that no one knows about?
